Me and my boyfriend recently visited his brother and sister in law down in London, we had an absolutely amazing time and i got a good bit of advice for my hair too!
Nathan's sister in law is a head stylist at one if the Vidal Sassoon salons and she offered to give my hair a little trim which of course i was more than happy about - she did grimace slightly when i told her it had probably been a good year - year and a half since i had last had a trim! *naughty me!*
When she trimmed my hair she said that i has some breakage to the underneath of my hair and obviously had a ton of split ends, she also said that my hair was quite dry. I asked what she would recommend to help it out and she said to try get a shampoo, conditioner and hair masque that has protein in it.
The protein with help the hair lock in moisture but also make it a lot stronger and less inclined to break. So i scoured Feel Unique and there is quite a few good - and pricey!- hair treatments on there, i really recommend the Aveda Damage Remedy range, it smells very spa like but works like a dream on the hair!
A bit of a long back story but today i wanted to share a masque that has done wonders for my hair and is a lot more accessible and affordable then the Aveda ones. Charles Worthington Salon at Home Mineral Hair Rescue Masque. I got mine from Boots for just £5.99, it comes in a good sized 150ml pot which is lasts for quite a while, i've used mine twice a week for about 3 weeks now and i still have half left.
This little masque has so many amazing ingredients for you hair like Argan Oil to nourish, Marine Minerals to aid recovery and helps hair grow and Conditioning Proteins which help replace the hairs natural proteins lost during heat staying and make hair stronger and more healthy looking!
The masque also comes in a little pot with a flip up lid so its really easy to get exactly the right amount of product and you don't have to worry about squeezing a bottle to an inch of its life when its getting toward the end!
The masque has made my hair look and feel so much more healthy. It super soft and so easy to brush through after a shower - i will definitely continue to buy this masque its super cheap and just amazing!
What are your favourite hair masque?
My hair is so dry since I moved to London, I am applying all sorts of masks but they don't do that much. The best one so far is Kerastase Ciment Anti Usure :) x Ania http://aniaaniapawlak.blogspot.co.uk

I'm naughty too cause I don't cut my hair no where near as much as I should. I'm prone to giving it the odd trim myself.. opps! My hair is naturally thin and in a bit of a state tbh. I wish I had thicker hair! xx

DeleteI love argon oil too, but i sometimes go a little over board with it and my hair looks like it needs a good washing again! xx
