It can be really hard to notice if your buying an original or a fake when it comes to high end beauty products especially if your purchase them of somewhere like eBay or Depop. I have done a little guide on MAC lipsticks here if you want to have a look at that... but today i'll be telling you what to look out for with the Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palettes.
From what i have found so far, the a replica Flushed Palette is only available in the one original shade, Naked so if you see anything that is advertised as a "Brand New Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette in either Strip, Native or Streak for anything less then £15 i would stay clear!
The biggest most noticable difference i have seen between the originals and the fakes are the lines in-between the colours.. The originals have clean, straight edges between colour transitions and the fakes are all uneven, which you can see from the photograph below.
Something else that is not always the easiest to see the difference between al real and fake is the colour of the packaging. The real Urban Decay packaging is a bronzed colour where as the fakes are have more of a silver look to them.
Urban Decay before the release their product have a quality control and if something is not 100% with a product it will not been sent to stores, so if you receive something thats mirror has slightly come away from the case or doesn't close correctly i would say it has a high chance of being fake and would contact the seller and ask if you could either have a replacement and if that arrives in the same sort of condition i would ask for your money back.
Hope this helps.. let me know if there is anything you would like to see me compare.
